Republic:
Republic Doors and Frames was acquired by Desco in late 2003.

 

Steelcraft:
Steelcraft is a division of Ingersoll Rand, owner of national brands such as Schlage and Trane.

 

Curries:
Curries was founded in 1958 in Mason City Iowa by Cory Currie as a local hardware store. After running into supply problems from their existing vendors, Curries decided to try their hand in the hollow metal door business. Today the business is now a large division of it’s parent company Assa Abloy.

 

Algoma:
Initially starting as a wood furniture manufacturer, Algoma has grown into one of the larges manufacturers of commercial wood doors. In 1947 they produced their first wood faced mineral core fire door. This new type of door allowed buildings to keep the traditional look of a wood door, while giving the fire stopping benefits of hollow metal doors. In the 1990’s Algoma added several regional distribution centers allowing them to offer better

 

Hagar:
Starting as a general blacksmith, Hager has a history that reaches back to the 1800’s. In 1878 Charles Hager took his family business and started focusing on quality hardware. Hager quickly found a market producing hinges for beer cases for a neghboring business, the Anheuser Busch brewery. Hager has continued it’s family legacy passing the torch down 9 generations of family presidents. Over the years Hager has expanded it’s product line to include commercial hinges, roton and continuous hinges and now have added a great selection of electronic security hardware.
