Knockdown frames are a perfect match for hollow metal and commercial wood doors in drywall or stud wall construction. They’re easy to install and offer multiple anchoring options, including punch and dimpled anchors, stud anchors, drywall compression anchors, and Z‑anchors, so the frame can be matched precisely to the wall type. 

Welded frames arrive pre-assembled as a single, solid unit. These commercial door frames are designed for applications where strength and appearance are top priorities. 

Welded steel door frames pair seamlessly with both commercial metal doors and wood doors. They’re commonly used for exterior openings and masonry walls, delivering an elegant, seamless appearance with fewer visible joints. Please note that when used with drywall, the welded frame must be installed first. If drywall is up, a knockdown or retrofit frame is recommended.
